The structure for the week is designed to allow a good balance of creative/learning and relaxation time. Breakfast is served 08h00 – 09h00 with the morning's tutoring starting at 10h00. If you're creating on site, the sessions get underway from 10h00. We break for lunch at 12h30, allowing time to eat, socialise and relax a little before resuming at 14h00 when you will continue your work and/or move into the studio if necessary. If your course includes off-site locations, lunch will be either a picnic provided or you may choose to eat in a local restaurant. The afternoon session finishes around 17h00 allowing you time to relax or finish any work you want in the studio. Dinner is served at 19h30 - a four-course traditional French-inspired menu
For the final evening of your stay, you will have the opportunity to exhibit your work whilst enjoying a drink with the group. Guests will be taken to Limoges airport for return flights.

Not only did the week turn out to be an educational experience with excellent tuition from Kirstie Trobe Fine Art, it was also a relaxing holiday in beautiful and peaceful surroundings.. Nothing was too much trouble for Heidi, who is a friendly and kind host and who provided us with delicious food at every meal. She also drove us to nearby towns and villages so that we could sketch the local countryside and architecture, which we painted on our return to the retreat. Kirstie gave us her expert advice on how to achieve the best results with our water colour paintings and also gave us a lesson in pastels, which some of us had never attempted before. I didn’t know what to expect when I signed up to join this group, but it exceeded all my expectations.
